Happy New Year!

The first day of school after winter break, we visited shine.

 We went to Omiya Shrine, which is a little far from school, for the first time to pray for happiness this year. Since this was the first time for the students who enrolled last year, they learned how to wash their hands and how to pray beforehand. Each of them made their own wishes. Then, we took a fortune slip (omikuji) to try our luck this year, and It would be great if students could get “Daikichi” which is the best one, meaning “great fortune”. We wish them a happy new year.

It was a very cold day, but a refreshing day.
