Field trip 【March 12, 2024】

 We went to Tanuki Village in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture and Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto.

At Tanuki Village, we had a cup painting experience and had lunch. The students skillfully drew pictures and patterns with brushes they were not used to. Some of them even wrote kanji. The painted cups will now be baked. I’m looking forward to seeing it.

 After Tanuki Village, we went to Fushimi Inari Taisha. It was raining the whole time that we  were  at Tanuki Village, but it had stopped once we arrived Kyoto, and we were able to see a beautiful blue sky. Walking, eating, and taking photos… students seemed to have a lot of fun. It was our first field trip since entering the school, and I’m glad it was a sunny day.
